The readers know Vilde due to her novel “Sisters Richynski” she had been writing almost all her life. Fate repeatedly separated and reconciled Iryna Vilde with her beloved husband Andrii Polotniuk. In 1943, the German invaders took him forever. Thirty years later, the son of Iryna Vilde, Yarema, found the grave of his father, but at that time she already passed away.
