After the wedding with Olha Hamorak and the birth of their first son, Vasyl Stefanyk dedicated himself to his house and family. But later, he returned to politics. The peasants elected him to be an ambassador of the Parliament in Vienna, and he held that elective office for almost 10 years, till the collapse of Austria-Hungarian Empire. But Vasyl’s wife, Olha, died very soon. And Vasyl Stefanyk disappeared as a writer for 15 years. After the First World War, the second phase of the literary activity of Vasyl Stefanyk began. Find out about the story of his last years and of his three sons whom Stefanyk brought up by himself  in the documentary series “The Game of Fate” by VIATEL Studio narrated by Natalka Sopit.

– at the Vasyl Stefanyk Literary and Memorial Museum in Rusiv
– at the private house of the Stefanyk family in Rusiv
– at the Museum of Outstanding Figures of Ukrainian Culture
– at the Olha Kobylianska Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater
– at the Hotel and Restaurant Complex “Under The Lime Trees”
