Vasyl Symonenko belonged to the generation of the Soviet Intelligentsia called the Sixtiers. He died three weeks before his 29th birthday. When he was 20, he foresaw his fate and predicted that his life would be short. But his death is still cloaked in the mist of mysteries, legends and gossips.
