Epistolary romance between the famous writer Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi and Oleksandra Aplaksina, who was an ordinary officer at the statistical bureau, lasted for several years. But the writer could not abandon his wife Vira, who loved him, and their children, whom he loved.
