The happy family life of Ivan Karpenko-Karyi ended in thirteen years with the death of his wife Nadiia Tarkovska. Ivan was also dismissed from the police office because of political disloyalty. And then, he found solace working with the theatre group. But his dismissal from work lead to exile.
