The protagonists of the events that took place in Kyiv were two well-known doctors. They both were born far away from Kyiv and had overcome a lot of obstacles in order to live in the city. Their names were Vasyl Obraztsov and Volodymyr Lindeman. There, in Kyiv, a conflict between them and an unprecedented event – the duel at the beginning of the 20th century – happened.
