Mykhailo became a successful scientist engaged in research work in the historical archives, wrote his master’s thesis, and fell in love with the daughter of the justice of the peace Vovk-Karachevskyi, Mariia, who did not share his feelings. That was how Hrushevsky ended his studies at Kyiv University of Saint Volodymyr. A new job was already waiting for him in Lviv. Find out about how Hrushevskyi was invited to head the chair of history of Lviv University in Austro-Hungary when he was just 27 years old – in the documentary series “The Game of Fate” by VIATEL Studio narrated by Natalka Sopit.
