After the wedding with Olha Hamorak and the birth of their first son, Vasyl Stefanyk dedicated himself to his house and family. But later, he returned to politics. The peasants elected him to be an ambassador of the Parliament in Vienna, and he held that elective office for almost 10 years, till the collapse of Austria-Hungarian Empire. But Vasyl\u2019s wife, Olha, died very soon. And Vasyl Stefanyk disappeared as a writer for 15 years. After the First World War, the second phase of the literary activity of Vasyl Stefanyk began.
